I’m a firm believer that souls cannot be created nor destroyed, much like the matter and energy of this world. Let us describe the soul as a type of energy, which interacts between living things; unlike the potential energy and kinetic energy of objects which cannot compete with the speed of the technologically reformed mind of today, the Souls’ Energy (SE) moves quickly; while release and absorption keep energy in check, the constant flow of energy between people comes instantaneously and often uncontrollably to humans. This constant flow of SE from person to person explains why cities are so productive; the influx becomes enough for the average person to stay at work longer, feeling invigorated by the massive amount of energy; it is impossible to be alone. We look to others for warmth, comfort, reassurance, because we thrive on their energy to survive.
For some its parents, who you can never seem to fully grasp the complete approval from, yet from a very young age, we rely on for the most basic of reassurance. Although you may see the reason our generation is so suffocated from SE, they don’t understand the horrid miscommunications of the technology age. One may find it easier to use a technological communication device to attempt the transfer of SE, but soon find it difficult due to the minimal amount of SE that can be transferred between both parties without physical presence. The ability to transfer SE cannot be forced; it can only be found between two completely compatible beings.
Without the use of electric heating systems invented in the early 1880’s by Thomas Edison, the term warmth has morphed into a synonym for sympathy. The initial need for warmth, physically felt by luxury-less ex-earth dwellers, brutally forcing those past peoples into a world without such a basic instinct.
New, fake and gilded warmth derives from the innovation of Freudian Psychology. By talking out problems, without the intimate and detail-knowing reaction of the understanding recipient of news, heat has become benign to our new definition of the word “warmth,” which indicates emotional, rather than physical SE. Physical SE calls upon contact of another person’s potential, or internalized, SE. Potential SE, stored inside all living things, can only be transferred through the five senses. Seeing, smelling or tasting someone or something, hearing a familiar or euphoric voice, kissing, hugging, or even having sex with someone, stirs the potential SE inside one’s mind.
Emotional SE resembles the kinetic energy of matter, which, as defined, means energy of moving objects. Emotional SE usually needs an abstract catalyst to transfer, unlike the concrete boundaries of potential SE: the proof of a certain event by means of conformed thinking (sight or sound), the belief and trust of the less standardized, and more intricate of the senses (smell or taste) (which, although relatable in identical actions and reactions, avoided in modern times due to the lack of the complete imagery of smells and tastes that allow us to describe our physical world,) or the naive acceptance of skin contact as truth (touch).
The usual catalyst for emotional SE transfer derives in a powerful and compelling yearning, passion. Art, powered by a mysterious need inside of us to do so, make connection with others who may or may not have a naturally good connection with you to find a commonality to clear the kinetic path so you can transfer SE to one another. The desperate need to share potential SE and emotional SE with another person, or love, also functions via passion. A special interest in facts, humor, ideas, philosophies, etc that are produced by a loved one and the general company of a loved one illustrate the typical in emotional SE transfers dealing with love. Emotional SE, described as a sensation of connection and the transfer of intangible human characteristics, can also be exploited and unevenly shared, such as ionic bonding, depending on the intentions of the two connectors. Advertisement usually creates a commonality between the consumer and the industry, by making the audience laugh, cry, feel warmth, remember the advertiser in a good light, etc, that can be used to convince the consumer of something, without their complete awareness. The connection, if made properly, fosters the malleability of both participants’ passions, exclusively the consumer in the world of propaganda. It lets the drawbridge to the kingdom of our precious souls down, allowing the other party’s most trusted representative in to interact and exchange SE.
SE only describes the way in which souls interact with each other. The desperate need of living becomes the desperate need for energy, which eliminates the possibility of solitude in the 21st century. Mankind has become so numbed by technologically enhanced living styles and perceptions, that the soul becomes more and more desperate to exchange energy. Because potential SE can be internal and personal, material objects display the illusion of the transfer of SE without an actual transfer.
